The Story Behind the Shovel
It started the way most obsessions do — with one find that stopped us cold. A hand-hewn butter churn at an estate sale, still carrying the patina of a hundred winter mornings. We paid too much for it and never looked back.
Caveman Antiques grew out of decades of barn sales, auction houses, and dusty attic crawls across the American heartland. We specialize in primitive and early American pieces — the kind made before machines made everything the same.
